Снижение продолжительности и качества жизни у больных, перенесших боль-шие ампутации нижних конечностей, заставляет хирургов использовать любые воз-можности для выполнения реваскуляризирующей операции. На протяжении последних 13 лет для протезирования/шунтирования периферических артерий мы применяем эпоксиобработанные биопротезы («КемАнгиопротезы») диаметром 4-7мм, длиной от 23 до 64см и толщиной стенки 1-1,2мм.

The NeoCor Company is the leader in development and production of biological prostheses for cardiovascular surgery in Russia.

Its Manufacturing Laboratory has been in the market for over 30 years. A wealth of research and manufacture experience has been gained over this time. The base for NeoCor's research activities is Kemerovo Cardiac Center.

In 2003 the Company was the first to be certified for conformity to the International Standard ISO 9001:2000 and has been developing this system since then. Now the Company is introducing a Quality Management System to conform with the Standard ISO 13485:2003 Medical devices - Quality management systems - Requirements for regulatory purposes. The QMS is presently being prepared for certification.

Simultaneously some NeoCor products are preparing for CE marking assessment procedures with EC Directive 93/42/EEC Medical Devices.

The Company's produce boast of thoroughness of material selection, unique modeling technique and tight quality control. The bioprostheses have been widely accepted at most Russian and CIS Cardiac and Vascular Surgery Centers. The technologies devised by the Company have been awarded with:

  • The Lillehai Prize of SJM 1997 /Juravleva I.Ju.
  • RF Government Prize for Scientific and Technical Progress,2002 / Barbarash S.L., Juravleva I.Ju.
  • The Bakulev Prize of 2004 for the creation of of a modern cardiosurgical center and the personal contribution on biological prothsesis / Barbarash L.S.
  • The "Vocation" Prize of 2007 to Russia's best doctors for the creation of new treatment method / Barbarash S.L., Juravleva I.Ju.
